ICS to Excel converter — calendar events in a real workbook

Turn an .ics calendar export into a genuine Excel .xlsx workbook — not a renamed CSV — with one row per event and every field in its own column. Your calendar never leaves your device — everything is parsed and built locally, in your browser.

Drag & drop your .ics file here

it is parsed in this tab — never uploaded

Your files never leave your device — everything is parsed locally in your browser.

How it works

1

Drop your .ics file

Any iCalendar export — Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook. It is parsed on the spot by JavaScript in this tab. Nothing is uploaded, ever.

2

Preview the events

Every event as a row — summary, start, end, location, organizer, attendees, status, description, recurrence — so the columns you get are the ones you checked.

3

Download the .xlsx

A real Office Open XML workbook (one Events sheet), built locally and saved straight to your downloads. Free exports cover the first 10 events; a one-time license unlocks the full calendar.

Simple pricing

The viewer and 10-event exports are free. A one-time license unlocks full exports.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert ICS to Excel?

Drag the .ics file into the box above (or click "Choose .ics file"). The events are parsed in your browser tab and shown in a preview grid; then click "Export to Excel" to download a real .xlsx workbook. No upload, no account — the file never leaves your device. A plain CSV works too: see the ICS to CSV converter.

Which event fields end up in the workbook?

Summary, start, end, location, organizer, attendees (with their response status), event status, categories, description, the raw recurrence rule, and the event UID — one row per event, on a single Events worksheet. Time-zone-tagged times keep their zone label; nothing is silently converted.

Can I open the .xlsx in Google Sheets or LibreOffice?

Yes. The export is a standard Office Open XML workbook — Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc and Apple Numbers all open it. Text is stored as Unicode, so accented and non-English event text survives intact.

How are repeating events exported?

A repeating event is exported as ONE row — the master event — with its recurrence rule in the RRULE column (e.g. FREQ=WEEKLY;BYDAY=TH). The converter does not expand recurrences into hundreds of synthetic rows: the row count matches what your calendar actually stores.

What's free and what does a license unlock?

Free, forever: viewing any .ics file in the full event grid, and CSV/Excel/PDF exports covering the first 10 events. A one-time license (90-day $9.99 or lifetime $19.99) exports every event in the file. No subscription either way.

Is my calendar uploaded anywhere?

No. The .ics file is read and converted entirely by JavaScript in your browser tab — the data never crosses the network. Verify it in the Network tab of your developer tools: the only requests are page loads, an anonymous usage counter, and license validation for paid users. Details in the privacy policy.
